Shane Deacon

Vice President of Sales - EMEA (Europe, The Middle East, and Africa)

Shane Deacon is leading our service initiatives abroad and increasing our international presence as Accounting Seed’s first EMEA Vice President.

Working from our International Office in London, Shane brings over 20 years of experience managing software sales in the small business to enterprise markets. Over this time, Shane has come to embrace and work with the Salesforce ecosystem. A seasoned operations and sales leader, Shane has built and managed multiple teams to facilitate international business growth and development.

Shane brings a blend of technical skills and business acumen that are essential to helping customers identify the essential requirements to gain solutions they need in the software. Shane really enjoys working with his team to show how customers can maximize their CRM/ERP platform to leverage the most value for their company.

Graduating from Brunel University (London), Shane has a degree in computer and communications engineering. Before joining Accounting Seed, Shane started his career as a software developer at Philips and then Alcatel before moving into a technical pre-sales role at Synopsys Inc. Later, he managed international sales teams for software companies like Kaptio, InvoiceIT (acquired by Steelbrick/Salesforce), and ARC International. Shane excelled in closing multi-million dollar sales that generated exponential company growth. During his tenures at Kaptio and InvoiceIT, he generated a 30X (3 years) and 8X (2 years) revenue growth respectively.

Outside of work, Shane enjoys golfing, swimming, and working out in the gym. He also loves spending time with his family and Husky.
