Account Executive – Inside Software Sales

Accounting Seed is a rapidly growing accounting software company selling a leading edge application on the Salesforce.com platform. We are the fusion of two disciplines: Information Technology and Accounting.

We are seeking several professional, dynamic Account Executives to join our inside sales team. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced, engaging, and collaborative environment and possesses a passion for success. This position is ideal for a junior Sales Executive or someone with 1 or 2 years of experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify and qualify opportunities from marketing generated leads and industry-related activities.
  • Pursue conversions with qualified leads that educate and position the value of Accounting Seed software.
  • Present the complete value proposition via customer virtual meetings and telephone calls.
  • Bring to light stakeholders and their roles within prospective client organizations.
  • Consult and engage our team of product experts to clarify and properly answer all prospect questions.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidates should possess B2B sales experience (software sales is a plus).
  • Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s degree is preferred).
  • Ability to quickly learn new web-based technologies.
  • Confidence, as well as strong verbal & written communication skills when interacting with clients.

Developer

The Salesforce Developer will support of our Financial Suite application. The candidate must be a self-starter who has the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. Possesses the confidence to work independently and with minimal guidance. This is a full-time, on-site position.

What You’ll Do:

  • Programming on Salesforce
  • Providing Tier 3 support
  • Implementing new product features
  • Troubleshooting and debugging code

Skills and Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or appropriate work experience
  • Required Certification: Platform Developer I
  • Experience in Software Development using Object Oriented Programming such as C++, C#, Java.
  • Experience in developing enterprise software using the Salesforce.com platform
  • h4 expertise on various Salesforce.com APIs like SOAP, REST, BULK, and Streaming APIs
  • Salesforce.com Apex Classes
  • Comprehensive experience debugging and troubleshooting in the Salesforce.com environment.
  • Experience following low-level designs and performing application builds
  • Experience using Javascript for front end-related development desired
  • Ability to work with an implementation team that executes in an agile fashion
  • Must be able to work in our Columbia office M – F

Accounting Product Consultant

Accounting Seed is a rapidly growing Accounting software company that sells a leading edge application on the Salesforce.com platform. We are the fusion of two disciplines: Information Technology and Accounting.

We are looking for a dynamic Accounting Product Consultant to join our growing team. You will be responsible for driving the adoption of our application by new users/customers.

What you’ll do:

  • Become an expert in the use of our cloud-based Accounting and ERP product that is native to the Salesforce Platform.
  • Coach customers through the process of product adoption.
  • Advise and assist with data migration from legacy Accounting solution to Accounting Seed.
  • Demonstrate features and functionality to new users.
  • Answer the user’s questions.
  • Advise on best practices in using the product.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to the product development, marketing, and technical writing teams.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting and/or:
  • 2+ years of experience in Accounting.
  • Experience with month-end close activities such as AP/AR reconciliation, and producing finalized Financial Statements.
  • Strong customer relationship, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new web-based technologies.
  • Confidence, self-starter and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Technical Writer

We are in immediate need of a Technical Writer to join our Support Team to create End User Training documentation and manage the application Knowledge-Base.

We are looking for a Technical Writer to work as part of our support team, interacting with Subject Matter Experts. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a technical field, such as engineering, software or accounting and a demonstrated capability of documenting business processes. The ability to evaluate and analyze complex information and a natural desire to help people understand that information is essential to this position.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop comprehensive End-User documentation that meets organizational standards.
  • Develop and maintain customer Knowledge-Base.
  • Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content.
  • Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, and sets our users up for success.
  • Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-4 years’ industry experience as an effective technical writer.

Partner Relationship Manager

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive the adoption of Accounting Seed’s partnership programs including but not limited to:
    • Salesforce System Integration Partners
    • Salesforce Connected Application Partners
  • Manage and track all inbound partner requests and referrals.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities to expand relationships with current partners and generate/explore relationships with new potential partners.
  • Drive regular communications with partner channels via conference calls, newsletters, and webinars.
  • Manage and track the partner’s journey through orientation, training, certification, and promotion.
  • Build capabilities matrix of partner channel to support proper alignment of partners and engagements.
  • Triage partner technical resource needs and assigns the appropriate resources.
  • Promote technical education, including product updates and other product communications.
  • Align Partner engagements to Accounting Seed’s Customer Success journey for consistent execution of client interactions.
  • Work within the Accounting Seed marketing and sales teams to align and communicate messaging and marketing communication for each partner channel.

Salesforce Technical Architect

Accounting Seed is a rapidly growing accounting software company that sells a leading edge application on the Salesforce.com platform.  We are the fusion of two disciplines: Information Technology and Accounting.

We are in immediate need of a Salesforce Architect.

The Salesforce architect will be responsible for the technical design, development, and code review, of the product feature enhancements to the Accounting Seed application. This person will be actively involved in the design sessions with business analysts, the product owner, and other technical team members, and will be expected to bring technology and people leadership skills to the team. This role will actively lead the design, build solution components, develop unit tests, guide testing strategy and play an active role in ensuring quality through the development lifecycle. You must possess a strong ability to work with our leadership team to balance the business needs with the best technical solutions to fulfill those needs. You’ll make an impact by researching, analyzing, designing, proposing, and delivering solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies, and it will be imperative that you are staying well versed in the ever-changing technology stack of the Salesforce platform.

What You’ll Do:

  • Directly accountable for the conversion of product requirements into an architecture and design that will become the blueprint for the solution being created.
  • Work as part of an agile product development team responsible for the timely execution of assigned tasks, and leverage experience to promote process improvement.
  • Lead conceptual and technical solution design for assigned features improvements to meet business requirements while ensuring compliance with established architectural principles, standards, and processes.
  • Work closely with the CTO to set the high-level technology strategy for Accounting Seed.
  • Understand and apply application architecture standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop technical artifacts that will support both the development and quality assurance team and Accounting Seed’s customers and partners.
  • Monitor and approve configuration, solution architecture, development, and quality assurance aspects of the features.
  • Stay up-to-date on Salesforce’s latest offerings and explore beta/pilot functionality if relevant
  • Provide thought leadership in technical areas of expertise to promote the best of breed culture in application development

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • 10+ years of experience in technical leadership and/or technology consulting on large enterprise projects around applications architecture, and/or technical lead for a third-party application development team.
  • 5 + years of Salesforce development experience along with Salesforce.com Certifications (3 or more) including Communities and Lightning
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com architecture components – sales, service, and marketing clouds
  • Ability to define and communicate the “big picture” in terms of the solution (both functional and technical components) and break it down into smaller manageable work units
  • Data modeling skills
  • Familiar with user experience best practices
  • Good analysis and diagnosis skills
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skill

  • Advanced skills in Salesforce application including configuration, triggers, process builders, workflows, visual force, lightning experience, Apex coding, batch processes, and database design

  • Experience with designing and implementing custom applications on Force.com platform
  • Background in application development using technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with integrating with the Salesforce platform (inbound/outbound) using the REST/SOAP APIs or Data Loader

E-Learning Designer

Accounting Seed is a rapidly growing accounting software company that sells a leading edge application on the Salesforce.com platform. We are the fusion of two disciplines: Information Technology and Accounting.

We are in immediate need of an E-Learning Designer to join our Support Team to create technical content on our product. There may be an opportunity to develop other training genres such as Accounting and Sales training All training will have assessment requirements.

We are an entrepreneurial team working in a fast paced environment. We expect our team members to feel confident working in a self-directed fashion and to demonstrate the ability to accomplish tasks with minimal guidance. Attention to detail and an organized working style will be required to work alongside our team. Success in this role starts with a positive, professional demeanor, and a willingness to take initiative. It is measured by the timelines of updates and the effectiveness of the content.

What You’ll Do:

  • Creation and maintenance of product learning content designed to support our internal team and external customers.
  • Collaboration with the product development team for newly released functionality.
  • Master use of learning delivery technology to include either Articulate Storyline and Captivate.
  • Develop assessments and monitor the results of the E-learners to identify learning gaps.
  • Work with SME’s to identify target audience training needs.
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
  • Maintain courses and assessments on the company LMS.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience developing web-based/self-paced Product Training.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above.
  • Ability to learn new web-based technologies in a rapidly changing technology industry.
