Getting started
Push Timing
- There are three releases a year. All releases are pushed to your Sandbox instance and then Production instance of Salesforce with prior notice during low-volume hours.
- Early access releases are not pushed automatically
Types of Instances
Accounting Seed can be installed in the following types of Salesforce instances:
- Production Instance: This is your live Salesforce instance.
- Sandbox Instance: This is a test copy of your live Salesforce instance.
- Developer Instance: This is used to write custom code.
Best Practices
- To access the full Accounting Seed product suite, please install Financial Suite first and then Orders & Inventory.
- Always install and test in your Sandbox Org prior to installing in the Production Org.
- Let us know when you refresh your Sandbox. This helps ensure your Sandbox gets upgraded successfully during the Sandbox push. All you have to do is let us know the new Org ID by sending us an email.
- Make sure you're on the latest version. Every release includes new features and enhancements—as well as fixes. To see what version you're running, look in the upper right-hand corner of your Accounting Seed homepage.
