CRMIT Solutions, a certified Salesforce and Accounting Seed partner, was founded in 2003 as a Salesforce services company focused on digital transformation to deliver Customer 360. With over 1500 successful implementations under their belt, CRMIT specializes in Salesforce CRM (Customer Relationship Management), business insights, field transformations, and much more.

We sat down with Business Development Director, Vinay Bezawada to learn more about CRMIT as a company and their offerings for Salesforce and Accounting Seed customers.

Q: If you only had 30 seconds to describe what CRMIT does for its customers, what would you say?

As a specialized Salesforce and Accounting Seed service provider, we help businesses optimize their contact-to-cash process including invoicing, billing, and payments. Q: What inspired you and your team to start CRMIT? 

A: Vinod Reddy is the founder and CEO of CRMIT Solutions and his inspiration to start the company stemmed from his passion for digital transformation and a vision to empower organizations with advanced CRM solutions. We recognized the growing need for businesses to effectively manage customer relationships and leverage technology to drive growth and success.

Driven by this inspiration, we embarked on a mission to provide cutting-edge solutions for our customers on the Salesforce CRM. We envisioned a company that would combine deep industry expertise with technical prowess, delivering comprehensive services that enable digital transformation and foster exceptional customer experiences.

Q: How has your business evolved since its inception, and what strategies have you deployed to drive growth at CRMIT? 

A: Innovation is at the core of our DNA. One of the key strategies we have deployed is a relentless focus on innovation. We invest in research and development to stay at the forefront of CX technology, enabling us to deliver advanced solutions to our clients. By embracing emerging trends, such as artificial intelligence, automation, and cloud computing, we have been able to provide our customers with transformative capabilities and help them achieve a competitive edge in their respective industries.

Q: Can you share some key milestones or accomplishments that CRMIT has achieved? 

A: Some of the key milestones in the recent times include:

  • 2023—ET ascent Workplace and People Development Award
  • 2023—Upgraded to the Salesforce SUMMIT Consulting Partner. Summit is the highest tier in the Salesforce Partner Program.
  • 2022—Acquired Mindlinks (a Salesforce Consulting Partner) to expand its digital360 solutions.
  • 2021—Launched HealthCARE360 with HIPAA Compliance Assessment
  • 2020—CRMIT Solutions Joins the MuleSoft Partner Program

Q: What sets CRMIT apart from others in your industry?

Q: Tell us about how CRMIT approaches Accounting Seed implementations 

A: CRMIT follows a structured approach to Accounting Seed implementations, ensuring that the customer requirements and challenges are thoroughly understood and addressed through a detailed discovery, customization and data migration process. We customize Accounting Seed to fit the client’s specific needs and processes, while also helping them to think of more effective ways to manage their financial data with Accounting Seed and Salesforce technology.

Our team specializes in User Accepted Testing (UAT) where we develop test scenarios and cases to ensure everything is functioning as expected. This leads to training and post-implementation support where we train key personnel in system administration and configuration to ensure effective system management. By following a structured and custom approach, CRMIT ensures a successful Accounting Seed implementation and provides continuous support.

Q: In what ways have you customized Salesforce and Accounting Seed for your customer base that other businesses might find interesting and innovative? 

A: Because Accounting Seed and Salesforce are on the same Platform, we’re able to take advantage of real-time data processing which allows fast and accurate data flow between CRM and accounting. This approach ensures the data from various sources in Salesforce, such as Projects, Opportunities, and Orders, is readily available in Accounting Seed through an automated workflow. This significantly reduces the need for any manual processing and further minimizes the risk of human errors—saving valuable people resources. With Salesforce and Accounting Seed’s open architecture and our expertise in both solutions, we are able to customize the flow of data easily for our clients.

Q: What role does Salesforce and Accounting Seed technology play in your business operations, and how do you leverage it to enhance efficiency and productivity? 

A: We leverage Salesforce and Accounting Seed technology in the following ways to streamline our business operations and drive efficiency:

  • Simplified finance department work: Accounting Seed has played a crucial role in simplifying our finance department’s work by utilizing its Multi Ledger feature. Previously, we used three different accounting software for different regions, which was time-consuming and cumbersome for creating consolidated financial statements. With Accounting Seed, we now have standard financial reports, and generating consolidated statements is just a click away.
  • Contact-to-Cash automation: Accounting Seed serves as a robust accounting solution that has enabled us to automate the Contact-to-Cash process. We create Opportunities and Milestones in Salesforce, while Invoice generation and payment tracking are seamlessly handled in Accounting Seed. This native integration ensures smooth coordination between our Sales and Finance teams, enhancing efficiency and minimizing manual effort.
  • Reporting and analysis: Both Accounting Seed and Salesforce contribute to our reporting and analysis capabilities. Accounting Seed financial reports provide valuable insights into our financial performance, allowing us to monitor revenue, profitability, and other key metrics. Additionally, we leverage the flexibility of Salesforce to create custom reports and dashboards, enabling us to track and analyze data specific to our business needs.

Q: Can you share any current or upcoming initiatives that are important for the future of CRMIT and your clients? 

A: One important initiative that we are currently working on, with high relevance for both CRMIT and our clients, is the automation of the end-to-end Contact-to-Cash process. The term “Contact-to-Cash” (C2C) encompasses the sequence of steps a company follows to turn a prospective customer into a paying customer.

Our goal is to complete this initiative by the end of 2023. By automating this critical process, we aim to streamline and optimize the customer journey, from initial contact to final payment, resulting in increased efficiency and improved customer satisfaction. This initiative demonstrates our commitment to leveraging technology on the Salesforce Platform to drive innovation and deliver enhanced value to our clients.
