Salesforce Partner, Accounting Seed, Celebrates One Year of Accounting Seed University

March 16, 2021 (Columbia, Md.)Accounting Seed celebrates a year of online training through the company’s learning management system, Accounting Seed University (ASU). Released on March 16, 2020, ASU is powered by the number one online learning platform, TalentLMS, and adds over 150 new users each quarter. With ASU and the company’s Knowledge Base (KB), customers and partners have access to instructional training to aid in rapid platform adoption.

“As we continue to grow, it’s vital for us to have many learning resources,” said Caroline Beatson, Chief Product Officer at Accounting Seed. “We are dedicated to improving the skills and knowledge of our customers and partners through comprehensive training courses delivered through a state-of-the-art learning management system.”

ASU is broken out into specific course topics averaging 20 minutes to complete. The user’s learning path is flexible, allowing them to complete the training lessons that most apply to them. The most popular topics include:

  • Features Overview
    Learn about the standard features that come with Accounting Seed to help you plan and build your back-office solution on our platform. Topics include Cash In, Cash Out, Ledger and Banking, Project Accounting, and Orders and Inventory.
  • Design Your Chart of Accounts
    Explore the key elements of the chart of accounts in Accounting Seed and best practices you can apply when designing your chart of accounts. Topics include the key elements of a Chart of Accounts, GL Data Tags, GL Groupings, and an overview of the Accounting Seed Skeleton Chart of Accounts.
  • How Accounting Seed Works
    Learn how data is captured and commonly flows through the application and updates the general ledger. The content revolves around the Accounting Seed Map and the associated diagrams that outline the flow of transactions in the application.
  • Customization Overview
    Get an overview of what is possible with Accounting Seed in terms of customizing the application to meet your needs. We will explore some of the most common ways you can customize Accounting Seed.
