Below are answers to some commonly asked questions related to our application.
A user needs an Accounting Seed license if they want to see, enter, or report on Accounting Seed data objects. For example, if a user wants to enter time, see what has been billed to a customer, or run a report on accounting data, they would need a license.
No. For example, you could have 10 people in your organization that access Salesforce CRM and only one person that accesses Accounting Seed. In this case, you would need 10 Salesforce users, but only one user of Accounting Seed.
Yes. If your salesperson wants to see sales orders and inventory balances, they would need a Full Product user license of Accounting Seed.
Not if you don't want them to. First off, they need an Accounting Seed license to see, enter or report on Accounting Seed data objects. Secondly, you can give them access to only specific data you would like to using standard Salesforce security profiles and permission sets.
Yes. You are able to make any Accounting Seed user a read only user, but this does not change the price of the license. All user licenses provide full access to the features listed. You can restrict the features, tabs, buttons, and fields for any user via Salesforce security profiles and permission sets.
Yes, you can select whatever mix of users that you like.
You need access to the Full Product license of Accounting Seed if you want a single user to perform functions related to both our Order Management functionality as well as features included in our Financial Suite. For example, if you want a salesperson to see inventory balances and sales invoicing activity, you would need a license to our Full Product.
Yes, Accounting Seed runs on top of a Full Sales Cloud license or Force.com license. Orders and Inventory users require a Full Sales Cloud License. Financial Suite can be run on a Full Sales Cloud or Force.com license.
A Full Product user requires a Full Sales Cloud user. The Financial Suite user can run on a Full Sales Cloud user or a limited Force.com user if access to the product and opportunity objects is not required.
The Full Product user requires the use of the Account and Product objects. The Financial Suite application only requires the use of the Account object.
Yes. Accounting Seed is fully compliant with Lightning.
Your contract is 30 days for monthly subscriptions. There is no long-term obligation with Accounting Seed. In order to cancel your subscription, you must Submit A Request at support.accountingseed.com in five business days prior to your next monthly bill to avoid the next month's charge.
For annual contracts, your subscription is for 12 months. In order to cancel your annual subscription, you must Submit A Request at support.accountingseed.com 30 days prior to your renewal date. All contracts are renewed automatically to ensure there is no lapse in your ability utllize our application.
For monthly subscribers, navigate to our Knowledge Base at support.accountingseed.com and Submit A Request ticket. Then, simply submit a request to add or reduce the number of users that you would like under the "Administrative and License" category. License reductions and cancellations must be made five business days prior to your next monthly billing to avoid next month's charge.
For annual subscribers, your decrease will take effect at your renewal date. Licenses can be added at any time and can only be prorated and coterminus with your annual contract.
