People ask me all the time why we think our Accounting option is the best choice for companies using salesforce. Here are my reasons:
1. Financial Reporting- Accounting Cloud has the best designed financial reporting solution. None of our competitors have the flexibility we have in showing what is called relative accounting periods.
2. Well designed object model- The application was built at time when more modern technologies such as junction objects were available on the force.com platform. Connecting simple relationships like cash receipts to billings and performing simple tasks like voiding a check are very easy in our application.
3. Minimal use of Visualforce and user interface overrides- What makes Accounting Cloud great is that it is the same user interface that is used by all your other Salesforce objects. We have refrained from overriding the user interface with proprietary pages which are not modifiable by the user.
4. Fast Screens- Some of our competitors screens load very slowly due to their proprietary API and screen overrides.
5. Project Accounting- Our app has project accounting built into it. There is not a second application for this sold at a much higher price.
6. Company Direction- We are not expanding into new product areas outside of accounting. Our core focus is Accounting and enriching functionality that ordinary accountants need in a General ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Project Accounting solution.
7. Subject matter expertise- All of our product consultants have an accounting background. Accounting Seed only hires CPAs and accountants as product support specialists.
8. Cloud Based for Real- Accounting Cloud can be run from a Mac, PC tablet, etc. There are no client utilities needed on any platform. This is simply not true of all the compaines marketing themselves as Cloud Accounting systems.
